FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm located in McClellandtown, Pennsylvania: Fayette County. There is a $35.00 travel fee for sessions taking place more than 25 miles and less than 60 miles from the studio location 15458.
What is needed to book a session?
To reserve your date, a 50% non-refundable retainer fee and a signed contract is required. The remaining balance is due the day of your session. Unfortunately I cannot hold any dates without the retainer and contract. If you are ready to book just click the Contact Tab at the top of the page!!!
How many pictures will we receive?
Each package has set number of digital images. However extra digital images are available for purchase and so is the entire gallery at a discounted rate.
Do you offer prints?
Yes! I always encourage my clients to invest in printed products. I know we live in a digital world, but there is nothing better than pictures of your family hanging on your wall, beautiful albums, and prints. I work with top printing labs from across the country to offer stunning ways to display your family pictures. Prints are available for purchase from the online gallery of any of the images, even if you do not choose the digital copy.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum 4 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
Do you offer discounts with combined Maternity and Newborn Sessions?
Yes, when you book a Standard Maternity Session and a Milk Bath Session there is a 10% Discount. Maternity and Newborn Session 15% and Maternity, Milk Bath and Newborn 20%.
When should I book my Maternity Session?
I recommend booking your maternity session in your second trimester. This will give us time to discuss your session, plan your location and more. I also recommend maternity sessions take place when you are 32-36 weeks, when you have a nice defined baby bump, but not completely uncomfortable yet.
What should I wear to my Maternity Session?
You are welcome to any of the dresses or gowns in my collection for maternity clients. I have options ranging from casual, glamorous gowns, lace robes, and more risqué options if you are feeling daring.
When should I book my Newborn Session?
I recommend booking your newborn session when you are in your second trimester. I take limited newborn sessions each month, and booking early can guarantee your spot on my calendar. Newborn sessions are held 7-14 days after the birth of your baby.
Do I need to bring props to my newborn session?
Nope. I provide an array of handcrafted props and I will have everything set up and ready to go in advance. I supply everything for baby.
